Union Pacific Depot- Quinter, KS - Train Stations/Depots on Waymarking.com

This is a former Union Pacific Depot. It has moved around the area since its days as a depot. It was in a city park for awhile, then was sold to a private party and moved to a farm. The Depot now sits beside the Jay Johnson Library and the community gardens. The depot was moved to this location circa August 2022.

Work is still being done to the depot in its new location, so for now you may only be able to view it from the road and community garden. Hopefully, in time it will be open to the public again.

Not much information could be found online about the history of this depot. I encourage visitors to this waymark who may know more of its story to share stories in their logs.

There is ample parking access near the cache. I suggest parking at the library, which is located beside the Depot.
