The pulpit is at the front of the church, left side of the altar. Everything of the pulpit is made from wood, the pulpit itself, the stairs and the canopy. The pulpit is heavily decorated, which include the scenes of the life of Jezus.
More info about the pulpit:
"In 1570, the lawyer Blasius Eckenberger donated the pulpit carved by Hinrich Matthes from Lübeck. It is decorated with scenes from the life of Jesus in niches with conch shells between corner columns.
The staircase door, made by Heinrich Ringeringk in 1600, shows Christ as the Good Shepherd and as the Man of Sorrows being pressed into a winepress. Around 1600 it was given a staircase, which was probably designed by Heinrich Ringeringk.
The sound cover of the pulpit, a work of the museum founder Heinrich Sauermann, was only added in 1897."

About the St Nicolai Church:
"The St. Nikolai Church is one of the main churches of Flensburg. It borders directly on the Südermarkt and thus forms the urban planning center of the youngest of the four historic Flensburg settlement cores."
