The community of Strathtay lies in Perthshire near the geographical centre of the Scottish mainland. It lies on the north bank of the River Tay and is linked with Grandtully, a similar sized village on the opposite side of the river.

The post office is situated in the village centre and is a single-storey building attached to a larger corner building which houses the local convenience store.

Opening times: Monday-Tuesday 9.00am-1.00pm. Closed Wednesday. Thursday-Friday 9.00am-1.00pm. Saturday 9.00am-12.00pm. Closed Sunday.
