The Remembrance Memorial is a monument to the events of 9/11 and includes an I-beam from the World Trade Center. It is located in Wentworth Park at 100 N Grand Ave, Lansing, MI 48933 just east of the Lansing State Capitol building. The inscription of the placard reads:

Dedicated to the courage, strength and indomitable
American spirit of those who perished and those who
persevered during the events of September 11, 2001.

Lansing Remembers.

The bricks are arranged in a diamond shape around the monument further broken down into four additional diamonds. At the base of the four sides of the monument's square base is the annotation for the four planes that were hijacked on 9/11/2001. The bricks are a very light red color and come in several sizes.
