"Het transparante kantoor, dat ontworpen is door VRP Architecten, bestaat uit circa 5.000 m2 bvo kantooroppervlak en een parkeergarage van circa 4.000 m2 bvo. In het kantoor zijn diverse duurzame oplossingen verwerkt, zoals een WKO systeem, PV-cellen, klimaatplafonds, een dubbele gevel en bubbledeck vloeren.

In het ontwerp voor de Rabobank GHN is sterk de nadruk gelegd op een combinatie van het concept locatie,duurzaamheid en flexibiliteit. Het gebouw is onmiskenbaar een landmark aan de snelweg A4.en een poort naar de gemeente Kaag en Braassem. Het kantoorgedeelte is gericht op de snelweg terwijl de publieke functies dorpsgericht zijn.

Het gebouw is voorzien van een 2e huid van aluminium profielen die voor 95% bestaat uit gerecycled aluminium. De huid heeft de vorm van een netkous die oriëntatiegericht zoninstraling filtert .Hierbij zijn de oost- en westgevel meer gesloten en de noordgevel open om maximaal te profiteren van diffuus licht."

Various sustainable solutions have been incorporated in the office, such as an ATES system, PV cells, climate ceilings, a double facade and bubbledeck floors.

In the design for the Rabobank GHN, strong emphasis has been placed on a combination of the concept of location, sustainability and flexibility. The building is unmistakably a landmark on the A4 motorway and a gateway to the municipality of Kaag en Braassem. The office section is oriented towards the highway, while the public functions are village-oriented.

The building is equipped with a second skin of aluminum profiles that consists of 95% recycled aluminum. The skin has the shape of a net stocking that filters orientation-oriented solar radiation. The east and west facades are more closed and the north facade is open to take maximum advantage of diffused light."
