Napoleon is a city in Henry County, Ohio along the Maumee River. It was founded in 1832 and named for French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.
The Welcome to historic Napoleon mural is located on a side wall of the JT's Building Maintenance & Construction building at 114 W Clinton St.
In shape on an arch, it depicts a scene from downtown Napoleon in the 1900s and features a message welcoming visitors to the city.
Horse-drawn carriages and pedestrians made the street very busy.
The artist also included the Ohio State Bird, the Northern Cardinal.
