This legion office location is a small storefront on Main Street in Stillwater, OK. Just to the right of the office is a second entrance which is the stairs to the second floor of this building which is occupied entirely by the American Legion.

On October 13, 1919 over 3 months after the convention in St Louis May 8-9, 1919, a group of Stillwater veterans, estimated to number about 20, met in the I.O.O.F. Lodge on East 9th street and organized the Stillwater American Legion Post. Official charter was received January 27, 1920 and Post number 129 was assigned.

Regular Dinner Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month, except August.
