Head to these coordinates from any direction, and in the late Spring and Early Summer you'll have your basket filled with huge, sweet, juicy wild blackberries long before you ever make it. At other times it depends on the weather. Located in Harbison State Forest, this is literally a 100 acre blackberry patch. When you take into account how many smaller patches surround this big one, you have over 500 acres of berries. We found it and asked God why he sent such bounty? To share, was the answer. There is a $3/day parking fee or $25/yr for a pass. When the berries are ripe it's the cheapest deal in existence for so many berries. While you're at the State Forest be sure to hunt some of the spectacular geocaches placed there with the permission and endorsement of the rangers.
