"Los poco más de 30 habitantes de Sempere, en la Vall d'Albaida, llevan desde el miércoles aterrorizados. Fue entonces cuando un vecino descubrió el cadáver de Ramón, un vecino de 77 años, en el interior de su casa con claros signos de violencia. Así lo ha confirmado la alcaldesa de la localidad, MªDolores Ortolà, a Levante-EMV esta mañana cuando relataba lo ocurrido y reconocía que el miedo se ha apoderado de la población.
La Guardia Civil está investigando la muerte de Ramón y aunque se ha decretado el secreto de sumario para garantizar la investigación, lo cierto es que los vecinos de Sempere cuentan que durante todo el día pudieron ver cómo permanecía abierta la puerta de la cochera de la víctima y que no fue hasta la tarde del miércoles cuando saltaron todaslas alarmas. "No le dimos más importancia porque Ramón solía sentarse en la puerta abierta para almorzar o tomarse algo", insiste la alcaldesa. "Ramón tenía tierras y solía marcharse durante horas. Sin embargo, ese día la furgoneta estaba aparcada en la calle y la puerta se quedó abierta todo el día", relata Ortolá.
Fue sobre las 19:00 horas cuando los vecinos comenzaron a preocuparse. Nadie había visto durante todo el día a Ramón, la furgoneta estaba en el mismo sitio y la cochera seguía abierta. Uno de los residentes vio que había luz en el interior de la casa de la víctima y preocupado por si le había pasado algo decidió entrar en la cochera y buscar las llaves de la casa.
Cuando entró al interior del inmueble, encontró a Ramón en el suelo muerto con signos de violencia y con toda la casa revuelta. "No sabemos qué pudo pasar", relata la alcaldesa, pero estaba todo revuelto y en el suelo... cajones abiertos, colchones rajados, armarios abiertos y con todo fuera... Aunque todavía se está investigando, los vecinos creen que los asaltantes y asesinos de Ramón buscaban dinero y que lo agredieron para forzarle hasta que les entregó el poco dinero en efectivo que pudiera tener. Según el relato de los vecinos, creen que los asaltantes golpearon a Ramón hasta que la víctima les confesó dónde guardaba el dinero.
Tras descubrir el cadáver, se avisó a la Guardia Civil y los agentes desplegaron el perímetro alrededor de la casa. La investigación se centra ahora en la toma de muestras de la casa para buscar restos biológicos y pistas que puedan llevar hasta los culpables.
El cuerpo de la víctima está en estos momentos en el Instituto de Medicina Legal de València".

One of the residents saw that there was light inside the victim's house and, worried if something had happened to him, he decided to go into the garage and look for the keys to the house.
When he entered the building, he found Ramón dead on the ground with signs of violence and with the whole house in an uproar. "We don't know what could have happened," says the mayoress, but it was all mixed up and on the floor... open drawers, cracked mattresses, open cabinets and with everything outside... Although the investigation is still underway, the neighbors believe that the assailants and Ramón's murderers were looking for money and they attacked him to force him until he gave them what little cash he might have. According to the story of the neighbors, they believe that the assailants beat Ramón until the victim confessed to them where he kept the money.
After discovering the body, the Civil Guard was notified and the agents deployed the perimeter around the house. The investigation is now focused on taking samples from the house to look for biological remains and clues that can lead to the culprits.
The victim's body is currently in the Institute of Legal Medicine of Valencia".
