"James “Jim” Orf, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Frances Orf; cherished son of the late Cletus and Bernice Orf; devoted father of Joe (Debbie) Orf, Phil (Dana) Orf and the late Diane Wilson; loving grandfather of Camyron (Trent) Asher, Jenny (Richard) Andrade, Shelby (Noah) Zinn, Kyle Orf and Jeff Wilson; dear brother of the late Bill Orf, the late Bob Orf, the late Rose Donner and the late Margaret Phillips.
"James was very active with Eastern Missouri Baseball Association and was a St. Charles County Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame member. He was a member of O’Fallon V.F.W., Knights of Columbus and a lifelong member of Assumption Church in O’Fallon, Missouri. James worked at Wagner Electric for over 30 years, and as a custodian for Fort Zumwalt School District for ten years. He loved baseball, coaching, and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. In his free time, he loved catching catfish at Busch Wildlife, his favorite spot was Lake 24. James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him." ~ Baue Funeral Home
