Sur la place de la Liberté à Pontrieux, les établissement Billet ont accueillit des soldats blessés. La boutique est toujours là et propose à la vente des boissons et des combustibles.
Devant la façade, un soldats poilu attire notre regard et nous rappelle notre devoir de mémoire. Sur la petite pancarte à côté ont peu lire :
"Durant la première guerre mondiale, la ville de Pontrieux hébergea un régiment de soldats malades ou blessés qui repartaient au front après guérison : le 154 de ligne.
Ce régiment quitta Pontrieux en 1918, après l'armistice.
Les établissement Billet furent un des lieux d'Accueil de ce régiment."
(EN) On the Place de la Liberté in Pontrieux, the Billet establishments welcomed wounded soldiers. The shop is still there and sells drinks and fuels.
In front of the facade, a hairy soldier catches our eye and reminds us of our duty to remember. On the small sign next to it, there is little to read:
"During the First World War, the town of Pontrieux housed a regiment of sick or wounded soldiers who returned to the front after recovery: the 154 of the line.
This regiment left Pontrieux in 1918, after the armistice.
The Billet establishments were one of the places of reception of this regiment.
