There are no posted hours, but it's probably best to do your business here between dawn and dusk. The Friends of The Colony Public Library has a document with a few sound bytes about this one, which was placed here in July 2020:
The sixth of our Little Free Libraries (LFLs) was installed in July 2020 in Perryman Park. This LFL was provided through LittleFreeLibrary.org's Impact Grant program. Thanks go to Megan Charters for coordinating with TC PARD and getting the signage ordered, to TC PARD staff for installing the LFL - and then reinstalling and repairing it after it was vandalized, and to Dell Holmes for serving as the steward for this LFL.
["PARD" is "Parks and Recreation Department".]
Given the box's previous damage and subsequent repair, it's in pretty good shape, although the pitched metal roof is a bit banged up. It's made of wood, aquamarine in color, with the standard handle and hinges and a swivel latch that still works. On one side is a medallion celebrating 100,000 Little Free Libraries, while on the other is a plate with the name and insignia of educators, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. The Little Free Library plaque is below the door window, while above is a plaque identifying the library as one of the Diane Kruzich Memorial Little Free Libraries of The Colony. It sees a good amount of traffic.
