The total height of the tower from the ground to the top of the cross is 75 metres, and the building has a square plan with a side of 11.3 metres. The tower's roof is 35 metres high, the cross is 4 metres high and rotates in the wind. The tower clock is one of the largest in Europe. The dial is 5.5 metres in diameter and the numerals are 60 centimetres long. The tower, together with the dial and the interior, has been in its present form since 1997, when it was renovated.

The tower has five floors inside. The first floor houses the so-called chamber of the village. The next two floors follow. The fourth floor houses the bell tower and its three bells. The first two, dating from 1558 and 1581, are memorial bells from the former fraternal congregation at Jejkov. The third is named Svatopluk. During both World Wars, the bells were requisitioned in 1917 and 1942. However, the copper covering of the tower's bell tower was preserved during World War I because it would have required expensive scaffolding to raise it. The clock chimes also survived the war, as it was claimed by the municipality that they were not made of bell wood, but only of steel. The last, smallest bell, the dying bell, dating from 1702, is located on the gallery of the tower. The tower's apartment and the tower clock are considered to be the fifth floor.

The tower was not a part of the church for a long time, it became a part of it only in 1716 during the extensive reconstruction of St. Martin's Church.
