This is a 6 story foucault pendulum that in all my times of being there, I have seen it working less often than Ive seen it not working. Like the often closed geology museum, I think this is a low priority in the departments budget. Still, it is on display and interesting.
Coordinates lead you to the door of the building. The pendulum is located just inside, near the elevators. Please post the usual gps photo to get credit for this waymark. The pendulum is accesible anytime the building itself is open.
Please go next door (just west) and find room C-149, the meteorite museum. That is an exhibit worth looking at. Coordinates to door of hallway leading to this room are N 33° 25.268 W 111° 55.948.
