The asylum building of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, intended as a shelter for girls, was built roughly in the middle of Rudolfova Avenue. In 1903-1904, the neo-Baroque Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was added to it. Today the building is used for school purposes.

The Women's Congregation of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament of the Papal Right was founded in 1887 in Ceské Budejovice by K. Šebestová. It was confirmed as a diocesan religious society by Bishop M. J. Ríha in 1887, and papal approval was not granted by Pius XI (1857-1939) until 1933. The mission of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament is the education and teaching of children and girls, care for the sick and disabled; part of its activities is the production of religious vestments. Its origins were closely connected with the Congregation of the Petrine Sisters, hence the misnomer petrine. The paths of the two congregations gradually diverged and their separation was formally confirmed in 1913.

The Congregation of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament gradually became the largest religious community in Ceské Budejovice and quickly spread beyond its mother town and diocese. From 1895 onwards, 30 branch houses were opened, including the 2nd Ceské Budejovice house in Suchý Vrbný, where the sisters ran a kindergarten from 1933.

The war years brought numerous restrictions to the work of the congregation. By the autumn of 1942 all its schools were closed and the congregation provided shelter on its premises for schools and religious communities that had to vacate their buildings for the needs of the occupation administration. The Congregation of the School Sisters of Notre Dame and the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of St. Charles of Boromeo found refuge here.

After the war, some of the Congregation's schools and educational facilities (a general girls' school, a bourgeois girls' school, a girls' boarding school, a girls' real grammar school, an institute for the education of kindergarten teachers and a nursery school) were reopened, but in 1949 the sisters had to close the schools again and in 1950 they were deported from the town. ¨
They did not return to Ceské Budejovice until 1992 and in the following years gradually reconstructed the restituted buildings of the original congregation premises, where a kindergarten was re-established, the production of religious vestments was restored and the Church Kindergarten was opened. The building of the primary school and the school canteen on Rudolfovská trída was also returned to the congregation, where the Church Primary School at the Bishop's Grammar School in Ceské Budejovice was established in 2002. At present, the sisters also run a branch of the congregation in Albrechtice u Lanškrouna and also work at the Bishopric of Ceské Budejovice.
