The Hard Rock Cafe of Tenerife Island is located in Playa de las Américas, a touristic town on the west coast of the island. It has been opened in 2013 and is located on the main street Avenua las Américas, which resembles a little the Las Vegas Strip with lots of large, themed hotels and shopping centers. One of these hotels is Cleopatra Palace themed in Egyptian style. In one of its frontmost buildings, the Pirámide de Arona, the Hard Rock Cafe is located. It looks quite impressive with a huge entrance arch, an entire pyramid, fountains, and lots of columns, statues and pergolas.
Inside the cafe is styled typically all American with memorabilia of famous rock stars including a trench coat of David Bowie, a jacket of The Who bassist and several original guitars. All the waiters are costumed as stereotypical American characters and offer to take photos with them.
In addition to the indoor area, a terrace also offers outdoor tables. Next to the cafe there is the typical souvenir shop selling merchandise branded with Hard Rock Cafe Tenerife. Sometimes, the cafe is the venue of events such as concerts or parties.
