The modern interactive exhibition of the museum is dedicated to Moldavites in a broader context. It aims to showcase them as a global rarity that is inseparably linked to the South Bohemian region. In the museum, you will also learn a lot about the universe, asteroids, and the collisions of celestial bodies and their impact on life on Earth.
99 % of all moldavite finds have provided the South Bohemian localities, 1% were found in South Moravian localities, tens of pieces were found in the Lusatian area (near Dresden, recently even few pieces in Poland), Cheb basin area (West Bohemia) and Northern Austria (Waldviertel, near Radessen).

Vltavíny – jediné šperkové kameny na svete, které vznikly dopadem meteoritu. V novém interaktivním muzeu prožijete celý jejich príbeh, od vzniku planet a vyhynutí dinosauru až po nejhezcí ukázky i záhady s vltavíny spojené.
Expozice umístená ve dvou podlažích je interaktivní, s cílem zaujmout nejen geologické nadšence, ale i laiky. Krome sbírky vltavínu pocházejících z jižních Cech, Moravy i Chebska zde najdete také treba mikroskopy a ruzná audiovizuální zpestrení. Vystavené vltavíny jsou zapujcené ze soukromých sbírek
