The Church of St. Giles is a Gothic church located in Dolní Dvorište in the Ceský Krumlov District. It is dedicated to St. Giles and is considered one of the most significant late Gothic buildings of the Rožmberk family in southern Bohemia. Construction of the church began around 1480 and it was consecrated in 1507. Since its construction, it has undergone only relatively small architectural modifications.
The first documented records of the existence of the Church of St. Giles in Dolní Dvorište date back to 1279. The church was likely built around the same time as the establishment of the village, which was owned by the noble Rožmberk family. Around the year 1400, the church underwent extensive reconstruction under the initiative of Petr IV of Rožmberk. This step reflected Petr IV's ambitions to transform the small town into a significant center. However, these ambitions were thwarted by the Hussite Wars, and the main construction of the current church took place from around 1480.
The drawing is located on an information panel in front of the vestibule.
