The old railwaybridge Piksborg, at the southern end of Bolmen
Piksborg was the last railwaystation bevor Bolmen (village) railwaystation. Here the railway had to cross southern end of the large lake called Bolmen. The Railway from Halmstad was just 64km long and was in a gauge of 1067cm.
In Bolmen (village) the Halmstad part meet the track coming from Karlshamn at the Baltic Sea. Because of economic reasons the small railway was closed in Oktober 1966.
Today the Track is used as a bicycle road. This runs also the whole lane from Halmstad via Bolmen, Ljungby to Karlshamn.
