This portion of the historic Wabash and Erie Canal has been restored. The "top" of the canal, to the north, recieves over a million gallons of water per day! At the south end is the associated museum. The Delphi Historic Trails take visitors down both sides of the canal. This metal and wood footbridge, in a relatively unimproved area connecting the headwaters to the park itself, allows you to cross the canal at this point.
