"Située en contre bas de l’édifice religieux la fontaine de 1698 portant l’inscription « J.Conan marchand de toiles » est placée sous la protection de Saint-Eutrope. Un grand mur surmonté d’un entablement semi circulaire est coupé par une niche en coquille (celle-ci abritait autrefois une statue de la Vierge) car la fontaine est également sous la protection de Notre-Dame de Bonne Nouvelle, à son pied un petit bassin rectangulaire reçoit l’eau de la source, il est entouré de pierres plates, faisant office de siège. Un lavoir a été adjoint à cette fontaine il a été utilisé jusque dans les années 1970. C’est le jour de la Grande Troménie qui se déroule tous les six ans que la fontaine prend toute son importance. L’après midi des milliers de fidèles suivent la procession derrière les reliques de Saint Ronan. Elle passe près des pierres sacrées et franchit les paroisses de Plonévez-Porzay de Quéméven et de Plogonnec. La quatrième station est celle de la chapelle de Notre-Dame de Bonne Nouvelle et de la fontaine Saint-Eutrope. Le prêtre plonge les reliques de Saint-Eutrope dans la fontaine. On disait alors que l’eau donnait une force prodigieuse. Les participants peuvent alors en boire l’eau. Cette fontaine était considérée comme oraculaire. Il fallait jeter dans la fontaine autant de tranches de pain beurré qu’il y avait de personnes dans la famille. Celles qui flottent assurait la personne d’une bonne santé." (visit link)
