The Old Adams School, built in 1920, was moved to the Grice House Museum in Sand Beach Township grounds next to Waterworks Park in 1988. A circa 1920 one room school house was moved to the Museum grounds in 1988. The school is furnished with desks, books and the stove so common in one room country schools of yesteryear. There are local school yearbooks that bring a nostalgic smile to many who grew up in these parts. The school building can be used by school groups for a living history experience. There are a collection of newspaper clippings and obituaries for the family historian and treasure seeker alike.-

Note about the day camp variable: This former one-room schoolhouse does offer students the learning experience but it is a 20th century school, not 19th century.
