The Museum of Parade Costumes in Milevsko is a Czech rarity, as it is the only museum in the Czech Republic focusing on the history of the local ethnographic tradition - Masopust (carnival) parades. The Museum was opened in 2017 in connection with the long-time tradition of costume parades in Milevsko town.
The Museum along with the Tourist Information Centre is located on E. Beneš Square. Visitors can see a collection of traditional masks from the first republic onwards, watch documentary films from Masopust parades in a small screening room and have their photos taken wearing a chosen replica of a parade costume.
For children there is an art workshop where they can colour their own mask or colourings with a parade costume theme. Various events for both children and adults are held here on a regular basis.

Muzeum milevských maškar se venuje tradici, sahající až k lidovým hrám a stredovekým mestským slavnostem. V roce 2016 byly milevské aškary zarazeny na Seznam nemateriálních statku tradicní lidové kultury Jihoceského kraje. V roce 2016 se mesto Milevsko rozhodlo milevským maškarám zrídit stálou expozici. Muzeum se nachází v dome c. 6 na námestí Edvarda Beneše. Nejstarší vystavené masky jsou z první republiky. Návštevníci mají k dispozici interaktivní tablety,kde si mohou deti zahrát maškarní pexeso, soutežit v kvízu a v tabletu je nahraná komplet prohlídka muzea, kterou si muže návštevník prizpusobit sobe.
V kinosále muže návštevník zhlédnout jak dokumentární, tak i aktuální zábery z pruvodu. Na zdi v kinosále je nove projekce masek v nadživotní velikosti.
