The engraved pavers provide both an entrance to the Fire Station No. 1 and Headquarters, nut also the sculpture entitles "Never Forgotten."

"For those who have made a brave and selfless commitment to protect the lives, safety, freedom, and fundamental rights of others, there is now a beautiful way to honor them—a life-size bronze sculpture entitled “Never Forgotten.” The sculpture depicts a firefighter carrying an American flag in their heroic display of courage as they march into danger no matter what it takes. It serves as a timeless reminder of the dedication that firefighters, military members, and police officers make towards society each day without fail. This inspiring work of art captures the deep abiding respect all first responders deserve while rejoicing in the sheer vastness of love within our heart that can’t be put into words—emotionally stirring Americans across all provinces with its profound message that we are here thanks to these individuals and will never take their selflessness for granted.
