This building was originally a warehouse for Fred Harvey's Hotel Escalante. A railroad spur allowed supplies to be shipped directly. It is located at the junction of the Grand Canyon-Nogales Highway and the Old Trails Road that would become Route 66. The grounds once included a black smith shop and housing for the maintenance crews. It now houses the Ash Fork Route 66 historical museum and visitor's center. It is listed on the National Register of Historical Places.
