The former Bossier City Fire Station #6 is now the Flying Heart Brew Pub. The old hose drying tower is still standing, and is part of the brewery. A memorial to four city employees (including two firefighters) that died in the line of duty in 1963 that was set in front of the firehouse is still there; the plaque is on the sidewalk, and the associated magnolia tree (now over sixty years old) is now the centerpiece of the outdoor dining area.
