Local Developer Nat Hyman based the mural, located on the side of his building at 347 Gordon Street, after a similar one in Chicago. He commissioned Baltimore artist Edward Williams to paint the 7,000-square-foot greeting.
It took the artist about 10 days to finish. The space underneath will become a park, where Hyman encourages people to come and enjoy the greeting.
