From the station marker (see Waymark WM17AXD), the azimuth mark is located 0.33 miles away at a bearing of 98.7 degrees. It is about 10 feet to the south of a wooden corner fence post, about 92 feet due east of the centerline of the two-track road that makes up Forest Road 1015, and about 20 feet to the east-northeast of a USDI-Bureau of Land Management sixteenth corner marker. It is set in the top of a square concrete monument that projects about 8 inches above the ground and is partially covered by orange lichen.
