From the junction of Forest Road 1015 and Heald Road at N44 41.540 W105 11.360, hike across fairly flat terrain towards a north-south fence line and the sixteenth corner for about 0.26 miles at a bearing of 164 degrees. The marker is about 2.5 feet to the west of the fence line and is surrounded by a small rock cairn.
