Reference mark 1 is set in the top of a granite boulder and is about 20 feet to the east of benchmark ROCKY. Be sure to play "Gonna Fly Now" while envisioning yourself at the top of the steps leading up to the Philadelphia Museum of Art upon reaching this reference mark (both hands celebratorily hoisted into the air upon reaching the mark is an added bonus).
