Parking for this trail is available at the posted coordinates. This is a 1.25 mile out-and-back trail from Tawa Point to the Painted Desert Inn. We only walked the one-way, as our driver met us at the Painted Desert Inn 1/2 mile away. The view from this trail, and Tawa Point, is beautiful!
Entrance fee for the Petrified Forest National Park is $25 per vehicle (if you are a Senior, ask about their great rates!).
