La baronía de Eramprunyà fue una jurisdicción nobiliaria medieval con centro en el castillo de Eramprunyà en Gavà , en el Baix Llobregat . La señoría de Eramprunyà se remonta a la época de la revuelta nobiliaria del siglo xi, y estuvo bajo el dominio de la familia de los San Martín. En aquella época el término estaba dividido en múltiples jurisdicciones y niveles de dominio, al modo feudal. En 1305 la familia Marc (o March) compró la cuadra de la Roca, al término de la señoría de Eramprunyà, ya partir de ahí fue acumulando en sus manos buena parte de aquellas jurisdicciones medievales: el año 1323 compró la señoría de Eramprunyà, en 1337 la castlania, en 1447 compró Castelldefels, en 1449 Gavà y la torre de n'Horta (una posesión dentro del actual núcleo urbano), hacia 1450 adquirió la cuadra de la Sentiu, y en 1562 Viladecans (cuando los Marcos ya se habían extinguido y les sucedían los Fiveller). De esta forma, simplificando la telaraña de jurisdicciones feudales, desde el siglo xiven el XVI se conformó un espacio territorial comandado por un único señor. Este espacio territorial, configurado por los actuales municipios de Begues , Castelldefels , Gavà , Sant Climent de Llobregat y Viladecans , es el ámbito territorial que en época moderna y contemporánea se conoció con el nombre de Baronia d'Eramprunyà.
