The Recycled Tree is composed of recycled scrap gears and metal. It is painted green, white, and black. The Recycled Tree is located on the west side of Pine Avenue on “Sculpture Row” in Holland.

“A self-taught artist working with the materials at hand, Stuart Padnos has created sculpture exhibited throughout Michigan including "Sculpture Row" on Pine Avenue and other locations in Holland; the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids; Fredrick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, and several Grand Valley State University campuses.”
