From parking near Little Powder River Reservoir at N44 38.765 W105 19.595, walk across rolling grass- and sagebrush-covered country for 0.75 miles at a bearing of 303.5 degrees. A fence crossing will be required along this line, but both sides of the fence are on Forest Service land. From this point, walk due north for 0.25 miles to the marker. If following this route, the final 0.25 miles to the marker is along the boundary of Forest Service land to the west and private property to the east. I recommend using a map on a phone or GPS to ensure that one stays on public land if there is any uncertainty about legal access. The marker is about 0.5 feet to the east of a fallen-over T-post.
Type of survey mark: Brass cap on steel pipe

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
A fallen T-post sits about 6 inches to the west of the marker.

What property is this mark defining?:
Forest Service to the southwest, private property on all other sides
