Im Garten des Hauses Waldweg 10 im Ortsteil Farrach der Stadt Zeltweg steht
eine schöne Statue des heiligen Nepomuk auf einem Sockel. Die Statue wird von
einem großen Dach vor der Witterung geschützt. Auf dem Podest wurde eine
Tafel mit folgender Inschrift angebracht:
Hl. Sankt
Nepomuk
Gefertigt 1740 in der
Judenburger Werkstätte
Brandstätter u. Nischlwitzer.
Mehrmals restauriert,
letztmalig im Jahre 2007
im Auftrag des Besitzers.
Das Denkmal steht auf einer gepflasterten Fläche. Ebenfalls auf der
gepflasterten Fläche befindet sich eine Grablaterne.
Johannes Nepomuk
"Johannes (von) Nepomuk oder Johannes von Pomuk (lat.: Joannes de Pomuk,
tschechisch: Jan Nepomucký oder Jan z Pomuku, * um 1350 in Pomuk bei Pilsen;
† 20. März 1393 in Prag) war ein böhmischer Priester und Märtyrer. Er wurde
1729 von Papst Benedikt XIII. heiliggesprochen. Die Jesuiten erhoben ihn
1732 zu ihrem zweiten Ordenspatron. Nepomuk gilt als Brückenheiliger und
Patron des Beichtgeheimnisses."

In the garden of the house Waldweg 10 in the district Farrach of the city
Zeltweg there is a beautiful statue of St. Nepomuk on a pedestal. The statue is
protected from the weather by a large roof. A plaque with the following
inscription was placed on the pedestal:

by order of the owner.
The monument stands on a paved area. Also on the paved area there is a grave
lantern.
John of Nepomuk
"John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) (Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes Nepomucenus) (c. 1345 – 20 March 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic) who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus IV of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning."
