"It’s a beautiful example of the German Gothic Revival, with the focus on the brickwork and stone or terracotta details. The tall centrally placed spire is typical of the style, as well. The church was completed in 1882.
"Instead of flying buttresses, there are engaged buttresses and tall pointed Gothic windows." St. Louis Patina
"The All Saints Church at St. Peters, by its position on a high
elevation, is a commanding structure by its very position. The Gothic architecture of it is a representative of a pure example of the German Gothic. Its pure and beautiful lines and the elevated position on the plateau surmounting the surrounding country, and its magnificent setting in amongst green foliage and trees, make it an imposing and commanding landmark for the whole surrounding country. For miles around it can be seen and expresses by its forcible masses the admiration of all observing it. The beautiful tower surmounted by a large gilded cross and the Dach Reiter with the gilded cross are seen from a far greater distance than the rest of this large, high edifice." ~ Church Building History
