This Gothic Revival style building at 2 Winter Street, Manchester, CT was built for the Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church. It became the American-Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church and then the Holy Transfiguration Romanian Orthodox Church.

Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church was formed in 1893 by dissident members of the Zion Church, the first German Lutheran congregation in Manchester. They built the Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church in 1896. In 1961 they relocated and sold the church building to the American-Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church. (

The Gothic Revival style building has a set of steps leading up to a entrance at covered by a gable roof at the base of a square tower. Near the top of the tower is a belfry with a Gothic style louvered opening. On top is a pyramidal spire topped by a cross.
The main block of the church has Gothic style stained glass windows flanking the tower. The sides of the church have three Gothic style stained glass windows. The transept projects from the back of the church. The gable end has a single Gothic style stained glass window.
