Alanreed Baptist Church, constructed in 1904, might be the oldest Baptist Church on the Texas stretch of Route 66. The Church is on an old section of Historic Route 66, a few blocks from the 66 Super Service Station. The building is a little worse for wear and the grounds hadn't been mowed recently, so this old church might no longer be in service. The cupola is U.S. Benchmark FL1992.
