This station, also known as Al Riffa, serves the most modern and largest mall in Qatar, the Mall of Qatar, and it has a direct connection to the mall. Another venue served by the metro station is the stadium Ahmed Bin Ali, which hosted a few matches of the 2022 World Cup.
