Alice Rosser - Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, OK - Homemade Tombstones on Waymarking.com

There are many home made grave markers here, and many of them appear to be made by the same individual. These are red sandstone markers engraved by what appears to be the same hand, and decorated in the same manner with leafy vines at the upper corners. This particular example is for Alice Rosser. No other information is given. On either side of Alice are similar markers for Edd Lee and Lula Lee. Twins who died very young, with their mother? Who knows. It is sad that these lives have been nearly forgotten. Nearby (a bit to the southwest) is a similar marker for Melvin Clark.
