"Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has opened a new restaurant on the Omloop next to the Noorderhogeweg in Drachten.
It is KFC's first location in Drachten and the second in Friesland. Leeuwarden (on the Central) was the only one in the province for the time being. The fast food chain mainly sells chicken products.
The restaurant in Drachten features a drive-thru and a terrace. The KFC is the fourteenth restaurant of the Benelux Food Group, franchise partner of KFC. “We are very happy to be able to open our fourteenth restaurant of the Benelux Food Group in beautiful Drachten. I am very curious how our KFC restaurant will be received by the residents," says Mark van 't Loo, manager of Benelux Food Group. The Netherlands currently has 83 KFC restaurants""
