In the little park on the outskirts of Oldeberkoop, you will find this stone with plaque (from 1994), remembering the Ruilverkaveling (land reparcelling) in the area (Midden Tjonger) from 1974.

"Land reparcelling is plot exchange, in the Dutch situation on the basis of the first land reparcelling law, which was established in 1924. Land reparcelling is a process in which landowners and/or users of the soil in an agricultural area exchange their plots with each other, in which the Land Registry in the Netherlands played an essential role in guaranteeing the legal certainty of participants."
