Crescent Municipal Tank (FJ1080) - Crescent, OK - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

The "old" Crescent Municipal Tank is N.G.S. Benchmark FJ1080. The silver tank is on a four-legged tower and has CRESCENT in block letters on the north and south sides. There are two newer water tanks in town, a standpipe and a spherical tank, both a bit to the northwest. This tank is no longer in service; however, according to the Crescent Public Works Department it will remain standing so long as it is structurally sound.

NOTE: The coordinates of this benchmark differ from those in the data sheet by about 150 feet.
