The San Fernando Cemetery 2 has its main entrance at 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, TX (or 29.41682 -98.55268). The former main entrance was at the corner of the intersection of Cupples Road and Castroville Road, but over time the city expanded and the traffic flow no longer could facilitate a corner entry, so its main entrance was moved to the middle of the cemetery along Castroville Road for safety reasons.
Once in the cemetery, follow the GPS map to the east edge of the cemetery that is bounded by Cupples Road. It is in this older part of the cemetery where this Woodmen of the World memorial headstone is found near the middle of the section between Cupples Road and the closest internal cemetery path. Señor Gomez is 5 rows from the internal cemetery trail and 8 rows in from Cupples Road. Go about 50 feet north from the junction of the cemetery trail before turning toward this tall headstone.
The Woodmen of the World memorial headstone has the Woodmen of the World logo engraved at the top of the tree shaped pillar, below which is a large scroll with a Christian Cross engraved at the top of the scroll area. The following text is engraved below the cross:
