A VW Dasher is on permanent display at the Crystal Forest Museum and Gift Shop. It's at the far south end of the Petrified Forest National Park. The museum, gift shop, RV park and outside displays are on the north side of Hwy 180 and west side of Petrified Forest Road
The vehicle displays numerous bumper stickers. The trunk is open, showing the massive petrified log that someone tried to take home with them, which subsequently weighed down the car so much it can no longer move. Let that be a lesson for future park visitors!
