NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME BOROUGH POLICE can still be seen above the main entrance door.
The prominent 1930's building was bought by engineering consultant Drayton Beaumont Services in 2020.
The new owner submitted an application to change the use of the old Merrial Street building, and relocated their offices to the second floor of the building.

In 2022 The Gym at the Nick opened in the converted cells of the former town centre police station.
It is spread over two floors with fitness studios upstairs and the gym downstairs. The interior has been transformed and the only things which give away its past as the police cells are the high windows on the ground floor. Source: (
