Tribute to their descendants gathered here on the occasion of the 310th anniversary of their establishment at Grande Anse des Aulnaies and the 325th anniversary of the arrival of Pierre de Saint-Pierre in this country.

Le premier de la famille Saint-Pierre à s'établir au Québec est Pierre Saint-Pierre (26 avril 1643 - entre le 15 juin 1717 et 1726). Pierre Saint-Pierre est né à Saint-Étienne-des-Tonneliers, paroisse de Rouen, en Normandie, le 26 avril 1643. Pierre était le fils de Michel Saint-Pierre et de Françoyse Engrand, mariés dans la même paroisse en 1634 et petit-fils de Guillaume qui y est décédé en 1636.
Pierre quitte sa Normandie natale pour se rendre à Québec en 1664. Il épouse Marie Gerbert, fille de Mathurin Gerbert dit Lafontaine et d'Isabelle Targe le 24 avril 1679, à Sainte-Famille, Île d'Orléans, et ils auront quinze enfants qui seront tous baptisés à la grande pointe de la Grande Anse, devenue Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies. Ces quinze maternités s'échelonnent sur 23 ans.

Pierre Saint-Pierre was born in Saint-Étienne-des-Tonneliers, parish of Rouen, in Normandy, on April 26, 1643. Pierre was the son of Michel Saint-Pierre and Françoyse Engrand, married in the same parish in 1634 and small -son of Guillaume who died there in 1636. Pierre left his native Normandy to go to Quebec in 1664. He married Marie Gerbert, daughter of Mathurin Gerbert dit Lafontaine and Isabelle Targe on April 24, 1679, in Sainte-Famille, Île d'Orléans, and they had fifteen children who will all be baptized at the great point of Grande Anse, which has become Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies. These fifteen maternities are spread over 23 years.
