Photos taken on 10 September 2022. The plaque says, "Ode to Desert Storm

My God we are proud Mr. President,
Mr. Cheney and Colin and Norm.
For you and our troops in the Persian Gulf,
For your accomplishments in Desert Storm.

We're also proud of Reagan and Cap,
Who knew what had to be done.
On their "Watch" they rebuilt our forces,
And for that We're again number one.

We've blown the sock off of Saddam,
His chemical, nuke plants and tanks.
We fought the war to win it,
And for that our everlasting thanks.

Desert Shield turned storm and lighting did strike,
To throw out Saddam the fool.
And rid Kuwait of all the pain,
Brought on by Satan's tool.

The women and men, both young and old
Who fought for the red, white and blue,
Are the greatest and best of the U.S.A.,
And that's no brag it's just true.

The cruise, the bradly, the M-1 tank,
Brought hell fire to all in their way,
Our troops and our allies, went arm and arm,
They made Saddam Really Pay.

Yes, thunder and lighting is what they were,
Just like Norman said they would be,
And now we know the battle was right,
Cause Kuwait and it's people are free.

We come here today to plant this great oak,
In honor of Desert Storm,
For the peace with freedom they won for us all,
And especially for those not yet born.

We sent our love and shed our tears,
For our wounded and those who died,
May God grant their loved ones and families,
With Heavenly comfort and pride.

April 23, 1991 Daryl Smith"
