The original NGS description for this triangulation station is fairly inaccurate after 74 years since the mark was monumented. The post office mentioned in the description no longer exists, and a series of new OHV roads have been established in the area by the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management that do not match the datasheet's road descriptions. As such, here is an updated description of how to reach the station:

From the Weston Hills turnoff along State Highway 59 at N44 38.210 W105 20.175, drive westward for about 1 mile to the trailhead parking at N44 28.150 W105 21.325. If you are hiking to the triangulation station, this is the recommended place to park. OHV access is permitted along a 4WD road to the east and south of the marker. If using an OHV, I recommend parking near N44 37.210 W105 21.815 or N44 37.085 W105 22.325 and walking the remaining distance to the station.

This triangulation station is set in the top of a square concrete post that projects about 5 inches above the ground and is about 10 feet to the east-southeast of a pine tree.
