Liberty is an unincorporated ranching and farming community within Maricopa County, Arizona. It is near the town of Buckeye. The church was organized during an ice cream social in 1908. Land was donated next to the Liberty school for construction of a church building and the first services were held in 1909. The church added a social hall in 1948 and the buildings were connected in the 1960's. The Liberty School next door has expanded from a single room school to a much larger complex.
